Introduction to Morris Dancing
Our annual Intro course is on the first two successive Weds evenings in October, at the Scout Hut at Pinkneys Green near Maidenhead. Sometimes we run these workshops again at other times of year - and beginners are always welcome anyway. If you'd like to come along please contact us - its a free chance to see whether Morris dancing suits you.
We'd particularly like to hear from musicians who play loud, portable instruments and would like to play for dancing. The tunes are quite easy, so you don't have to be a virtuoso. Typical Morris instruments might be a fiddle or an accordion, but we'll try anything (once anyway!)...are there any folk saxophonists out there?
